There is the concept of autogenous vaccines, vaccines for therapeutic use, composed of antigens from the disease causing bacteria. In the modern management of productive livestock, autogenous vaccines might not be used for therapeutic purpose on a regular basis. A slightly adapted approach is to use those vaccines as herd-specific vaccines to protect the animals once cases of mastitis are recorded in a group of animals. Here is a link (to a German website) which may help: https://www.biocheck-leipzig.de/index.php/de/stallspezifischer-impfstoff-und-autovakzine .
