Alpha amylase assay?

I want to estimate alpha amylase in the blood and saliva samples. Can anybody share the simple protocol which can be performed using spectrophotometric method (not ELISA) through which we can measure it.

You can purchase kit for Alpha Amylase assay. But, you can doing assay from blood plasma. Here attached some file for Alpha Amylase assay.
