I came across this interesting phrase and like to share with you all:

“All project managers face problems on Monday mornings – good project managers are working on next Monday’s problems.”

There are too many project managers manage projects by "fire fighting" approach that cause unnecessary stress. They react to problems when they arise instead of using proactive managing approach to avoid minor issues and risks turn into major problems. Good project managers should always have the discipline to manage and track issues, risks, changes and problems systematically and periodically.

One more thing to add is always remember to learn from the project lessons learned.
