I am co-organizing a symposium (E6) on Advanced Materials for Transport Applications at Euromat 2017, which is held from September 17th-22nd, 2017 in Thessaloniki, Greece:
If you are interested in presenting there, have a look at the conference website, www.euromat2017.fems.eu, and make sure your work finds its place in our symposium.
We are basically interested in all materials science and technology topics related to tranbsport applications, but we chose to specifically highlight the following topics:
► Additive Manufacturing for Transport Applications
► Hybrid Engineering Materials & Structures for Multi-Material Designs
► Intelligent Materials, Structures and Systems in Transportation
► Simulation, Modeling, Optimization and Big Data Applications for Process
Discovery
Linked to the symposium are two special issues of renowned scientific journals, one offering a conventional publishing model (Advanced Engineering Materials, Wiley-VCH), and another one following an OpenAccess model (Materials, MDPI).

To all those interested - the submission deadline has been extended to February 22nd, 2017. Attached is an updated flyer.
Dear all,
abstract submission is over now and we know we have sufficient substance for our symposium to actually take place.
Nevertheless, should you have missed the deadlien but are still interested to join, you can always address us, the symposium organizers directly, and within a few weeks to come before the final programme is being set up, we may still be able to bring in additional oral presentations.
Needless to say, poster presentations are even less complicated.
