Hi All,

I have a following question:

How much difference of isoelectric point between a wild type and mutant protein ca be accepted? E.g. The isoelectric points of my target wild type protein and its mutant are 8.23 and 7.97 respectively. I want to know if that difference is acceptable for performing the mutation?

Any valuable suggestion are welcome.
