I am working on Quantification of Solubilized P by bacteria NBRIP in presence of Glucose and Sucrose after 7, 14 and 21 days. But instead of showing an increase in solubilzation , my strains are showing behavior , increase solubilzation after 14 days than 7 days but on 21 days quantification it decreases again . How should I justify these results? Suggestions and help is appreciated

Khushboo: How often did you add fresh medium to the culture. As the growth of bacteria is in an exponential pattern and the consumption of nutrients including phosphate solubilization can be much higher than earlier stage. You should do cell counting as well and express your P solubility quantification against cell numbers at their LINEAR phase to see the changes. Good luck.
I did not added fresh medium any I see no reason for add fresh medium in it because i want to quantify solubilized in that given medium after certain duration
