If the sample is solid, then how much amount of the materials is generally required for the preparation of the respective sample's solution for TEM analysis?
In case of the nanomateials,.......?

Taking in account, sample of ceramic or metal, some procedures and techniques are most used. For metals electro-polishing and ceramic some kind of ion-milling.

For the case of nanomaterials for avoid the agglomeration of the nanoparticles, you should realice the diluition in one solvent and after you should realize a sonification. After add a drop in the grid of transmission
