Hello Everyone,

I would like to run a simulation for a thermoplastic melt flowing in a cavity (in molding process) using coupled eulerian lagrangian method (CEL). I have succeeded to run it firstly without considering temperature variable. Now I would like to include temperature in my simulation by doing the following:

1. change the step from "Dynamic, Explicit" to "Dynamic, Temp-disp, Explicit"

2. include conductivity and specific heat in material properties. I also make the viscosity of the melt to be dependent to temperature, by inputing it using tabular method.

3. declare the wall temperature. I assume it to be always constant at 80'C, that's why I declare it as "Boundary Condition".

4. declare the intial condition of the melt to be 260'C by using the "Predefined Field" to the nodes of the melt.

The result of this simulation is that the melt appear to be solid, because it doesn't deform, although it is under influence of gravity. (It could be seen in the attached video file).

I also attached the input file.

I really appreciate any input or advice :^)

Many regards,

Gunardi Ali
