Recently I received a strange effect: stresses in the outcome are higher, then those specified by Plastic material performance, i.e. there was specified 180MPa, while in the odb frame I received 400 MPa. In my other models (Concrete Damaged Plasticity) I got the same effect.
I really don't have any idea of how this might happen.
My model also experiences Ductile Damage, which follows in stiffness degradation, here everything is working.
Maybe anyone faced the same problems?
This happens in Abaqus some time due to one single element. Try using finer meshing and change mesh type.
You can try applying displacement loading and specify a limit for the displacement instead of stresses.
You may also change the amplitude type to smooth step amplitude.

You can't consider most of the cases maximum stress as it's spurious or infinite stress. The actual stress value will be two to three rows away from the constrained region. Check with that particular node after fine mesh...
