-I am trying to simulate the milling operation 3D between my "Rigid" tool and my "fixed" tool. & get a chip from my simulation in ABAQUS.

-I am using a hex mesh for the workpiece. & mesh type is a C3D8RT.

using an explicit, thermal-coupled mesh with a linear geometrical order.

I have my distortion control on, using hourglass control as enhanced. and the element deletion for the whole workpiece is "YES"

-My workpiece mesh is hex and it is 40 micro meter in size.

-I have tried the "stiffness and viscous" hourglass controls and I still got very similar results.

-I have tried to put my distortion control as "Use default" but I still got the same results.

-I am using the J-C model for the strength and failure initiation of the model. Also, i made sure i didn't make a mistake in my inputted units.

-I am not using a general contact but using a "surface-to Surface contact (Explicit), between the nodes of the workpiece and the fixed tool.

-I have attached an image of my assembly, my workpiece boundary conditions, my too boundary conditions, and my results(Error).

-Note the tool's constrains (rigid body and coupled) are both using a reference point that is very close to the workpiece but NOT on the workpiece. I have created a point right beside it.

- Only the bottom part of the workpiece is fixed so it wouldn't interfere with the chip

-I hope these were enough information regarding my case. If anyone has any suggestions on how i can solve this please share it with me.
