When I am trying to combine the optimization results of my successfully completed job in Abaqus 6.14-5 I get the error showed by the attached picture.
I tried copying the desired odb file into each and every single sub-folder of the Abaqus temp folder. Nothing changed. Seems like one of those shameful programming problems of big time commercial software. Yet I hope someone can prove the opposite to me over here.
P.S: I can easily open the last cycle odb and inp file and see the final and intermediate results but the combine option which gives you some comparison parameters in the visualization module is highly required by the project.
Kadir Gunaydin If I remember correctly, the version of Abaqus I was using at the time licensed by POLIMI was malfunctioning in naming the individual files for later combination process. So I managed to solve the problem by manually changing the written files names. As you are a POLIMI student you may ask Davide Felice Redaelli who was supervising me at the time and I remember I applied the said solution in front of him for the first time. I hope he remembers :)
