Hi folks,

I've heard of issues with AAV double transduction, i.e. where one wants to express two independent genes-of-interest in one cell (either in vivo or in vitro). For example, an 'AAV-Cre-mCherry' virus with an 'AAV-Calcium indicator' or 'AAV-GFP' and cannot find any or only few cells that express both vectors.

(This is NOT about double transduction to have expression of a single larger construct, which would be split into two dependent AAV vectors to circumvent the AAV size limitation.)

I would like to hear from you here to get a better understanding of what might cause these issues, specifically what vectors you used (vector map, Addgene link, etc).

Thanks for your help!

Cheers
