A lot of literature concerning the work history of air traffic management (ATM) has been discussed. Weather has a powerful effect on piloting and route of the flight. It is tough to remain on a selected route because of the poor visibility in heavy rain or storm. Moreover, it becomes important to alter the current traffic procedures and integrate advance ATM technologies to satisfy the future requirement. Thus flight safety is a major concern for all airlines. Researchers around the world are trying to find an alternative methods of changing a route under adverse weather conditions and many techniques have been suggested. In this paper, we have discussed and combine the results of A* search algorithm and methods for dynamic route planning of aircraft under severe weather conditions. A system generates an effective flight route based on regularly update weather radar data around convective weather. Through this method, a pilot can reduce the hazard disaster and improve the safety of passengers in real time within milliseconds. Index Terms-adverse weather, radar data, dynamic route planning.
