Science and knowledge production are at a difficult but an exciting juncture. This situation has vast implications for humanity’s survival and progress depending on how much we are able to change the course of scientific and technological application as tools for progress, not as masters to obey. What scientists know to be the current and (plausible) future state of affairs is not (popularly known to the masses. How do we engage society in disseminating various answers to the many complex, emerging questions about science and technology?
