1) What is the average\standard time to make a single Wind Ninja run 2) Can it use multiple cores for a single landscape?

Please consider the (1)"forecast mode" using a typical landscape of 50x50km and 100m resolution and if possible a Linux system. If Wind Ninja can use multicores, than please refer to a single core. If not, does it make any sense to "split" the landscape in N pieces, run each in a single core and then re-assemble?
