Is it fine to doctor blade over a bladed layer of film using the same paste?

Sometimes doctor bladed surface has a hole left unbladed or untouched which i dont understand why? If the above happened, can I reblade the same surface again? (Sorry i am not sure of terminology)

How can I calculate the band gap using a plot of K.M from % R against wavelength?
