I contributed to the following answer to the collaborative article on LinkedIn: You're presenting complex data to a non-technical audience. How do you keep them engaged? My Answer: When I try to present complex data to a non-technical audience, I try to: - First, I provide an introduction and a summary of my findings which includes complex data using plain language and graphs and charts, so the non-technical audience can grasp the bigger picture. - Second, I try to explain the jargon and the complex definitions to the non-technical audience using plain everyday language so they can understand what they mean. - Third, I try to use narratives and storytelling so the non-technical audience can grasp and understand the context and history behind the complex data and my findings. - Finally, I conclude by reiterating and summarizing my findings involving complex data in plain and everyday language to the audience.
