I believe that humanity is living in dignity ... Humanity is a feeling that exists within a human being and motivates him to perform a series of actions. This feeling is the feeling of others (their happiness and sorrow) and then his strong impulse to turn these feelings into positive feelings
Humanity draws a difference between the feeling of cooperation, love , respect, sympathy and inhuman that rules out the features that have been just outlined.
To be human, you have to own humanity. Otherwise you are not. You may be any creature except being human.

Humanity is the ability to care about others not merely to say that we care, but to truly experience that caring, to have empathy.
To me, humanity means creating feasible avenues to make better life for one's surroundings.
Example of humanity is demonstration by Jesus christ. He is God but reduced himself to poor man to save human kind.

Humanity is the dream I'm aiming, all human as brothers and sisters, no more cultural, religious, political or economical barriers. Just sharing. I think powerful have the duty (nowadays not fulfilled when in Grecia Magna 6th C. bc, it was the rule) to teach the weaker, so society turns a never-ending wheel. But nowadays, humanity turned specialized and showing only their human side in their own family, with people that look, think, vote, eat the same. Frankly a shame and the negation of generations of philosophers.
Well I think if you have sensation of pain that mean you are alive but when you sense the pain of the other this is humanity.
