I'm currently doing some project about using R for preparing input data for SWAT model. Since, I'm new in both of programs (R and ArcSWAT), I found some difficulties in understanding in each input data for SWAT. Is there any documentation that explain that? Also, is there any package in R software that contain function for writing input data in SWAT model?

I'm interested in this as well. There is a QSWAT software program for running SWAT with QGIS rather than ArcGIS. And an R package called SWATmodel. I'm not sure how SWATmodel capabilities compare to using the SWAT software. I'm a mac user, so running it in R and QGIS would be helpful. This is as far as I've got!
