I wonder if anyone has information on studies and recent research in psychology, on the development of self-realization in adolescents?
If there are studies directly linking the Life Project to the perception of Self-realization. I know of some classic works based on Maslow and Frankl, but I wonder if there are more recent studies.

There has been a great deal, but it isn't called self-realization. There is a huge literature on adolescent development of self-awareness concerning their own learning, for example. The most common term here is "self-regulated learning" but it is also part of the metacognition literature. In addition to learning (my field), there is understanding about motives and control, there is understanding of body and body perceptions, there is understanding of goals, and I am certain a great deal more that I don't come across from my field. I think there are other terms that would translate to self-realization (or self-actualization, if you are going back to Maslow), but to guess what they are we would need your definition - what exactly are you interested in adolescents being able to realize about themselves?

I am interested in investigating the construction of the adolescent's life project and its relation to the perception of self-realization, that is, how it is perceived today and is projected in the future in relation to moral constructs in the formation of personality: the perception of self-realization (or not) influence the construction design life or life design (as some authors have used)
But I'll try from the nomenclature which informed me: self-regulated learning.

It sounds like goal theory may have something to add to your articulation as well. I would also look at identity theory (also called identity formation theory) as it relates specifically to adolescents.
I briefly explored the concept of "self-realization" in adolescents, but I am not an expert. Have you considered the concept of "self-realization", as discussed in the following?
