Lesser privalege countries have survived better ?
How important/mpact ful is leadership in scenario like this
Hi. Definitely resources are definitely crucial to deal with this pandemic. Strong, supportive, motivational leadership, consciousness among general people along with sufficient resources, the crisis can be better dealt by both developed and less developed countries.
If the country does not ridicule the virus, then it can get over it fast, like small countries.
If the leaders make a joke of the virus, then they pay dearly in terms of death, like USA, Brazil and Mexico.
Unfortunately, it is the poor who pay the ultimate price, not the leader.
And people in those countries need to taken action against the leadership incompedence mentioned by Michael!
Shafiq, in as much as material and financial resources can help in containing the COVID disease, this, to my mind should be complemented by harnessing the good will and cooperation of people as we have seen in the extent to which people comply or fail to comply with public emergency, stay-at-home and social distancing measures in both developing and developed economies globally. A good question.
Yeah... it's bad in one way and good in another hand. but urgent measures need to be taken.
Actions against this outbreak is need of the hour by the world leaders before its too late by using all the available resources
