Despite the induction of both humoral and cellular immune responses by different vaccine candidate, what are the limitations for the development of the brucellosis vaccine for humans which none of the them have been licensed?
Immunity acquired from natural infection is not always sufficient to prevent reactivation of infection or reinfection. This low level of immunity in some Humans results in chronic and relapsing brucellosis.Bactericidal serum antibodies and neutrophils can destroy orgsnisms that are not within phagocytic cells. There is no correlation between levels of antibodies and acquired immunity. The acquired immunity is mainly crll€mediated, however, maximam immunity eould seem to depend on the interrelationship of cellular and humeral responses
Dr.Christian G Meyer:The question deals with licensed vaccine for human brucellosis, thank you for denoting a new candidate vaccine for human brucellosis hoping sucess.
