I am performing intercalation of graphite using 18M H2SO4. The compound obtained is unstable in air and therefore it must be analyzed at the earliest after it is prepared.
There is a chance to exfoliation during the XRD.
"unstable in moist air"... in dry conditions H2SO4 GIC shows better stability.. read this interesting paper on XRD of GIC... arXiv:1701.06493
Room temperature and low moisture should prevent H2SO4 from starting the reaction.
I want to understand the functioning of a tool. I've been told that the tool performs multiplicative decomposition of the time series before forecasting. I've managed to decompose the series in R...

Graphite can be intercalated with a number of compounds including halides, alkali metals, halogens etc. Yet most of the literature points towards use of graphite-acid intercalated compounds.

When I tried to energy minimization my system, I got fatal error as below. Fatal error: Atomtype opls_116 not found Although I've already added this line: ; include water #include "oplsaa.ff/spc.itp" to [molecultype] directive in my topology.
