I am referring to two or more plants of the same species in one area but of different microclimates (difference in light exposure). This may change the leaves' appearance such as color, but will this factor also alter the venation pattern of the plant?
Yes Keth if two or more plants of the same species in one area are having different exposure to light intensities leaf venation may vary, as i have also worked on plants and when collected same species from locations differing in light exposures venation of leaf vary.

There are no. Of variations mainly the size, shape and seration of leaves of same species may vary with different exposure to light. But these changes are not enough to treat it as another species. o authenticate your species u can send your samples to botanical society. Best of luck.
