Copper(II) sulfate pentahydrate has a blue color when dissolved in water. Is its color will disappear after successful adsorption on activated carbon??
I have already made this experiment but the solution was still blue after adsorption.
I just want to know if the adsorbent can't adsorb copper ions so the solution still blue or the adsorbent adsorbed cation but the solution is still blue because of the coordination bond between cation and water.
