Suppose in the case, tablulated value of t at 0.05 level of significance and 10 degree of freedom is 2.228 and in the case of my two studies for same level of significance and degree of freedom, first have t value of 3 and second have t value of 9 or above. As in both of the case, null hypothesis will be rejected due to the higher value of gained t value but my question is that is there any further study or method to expend the analysis that in which case, mean difference will be more significant because in the first case, the calculated value of test of quite closure to the tabulated value in comparison to the second one.

Please do answer this question, many time it came in mind that whether these calculated values have any further utility beside comparing them with table values.
