I have done an extensive amount of research, and according to my source, adding FGFR Signals will cause for feathers not to grow under conditions of low BMP Signaling. Is this true? And if so, will adding more keratin to the embryo of a bird cause for reptilian scales to grow across the body of the bird, specifically with alpha and beta keratin? Will also BMP2 add for the addition of longer fingers and leathery wings instead of that of feathers? Thank you.
