For the past 40 years I have believed FLRW is in error and more recently that dark energy arises from the same mistake in which all the observable energy in FLRW is assumed to be concave curving like gravity.
Lagrange methods and metrics other than FLRW are supporting the concept of radiation energy being convex curving. Then gravity prevails in galaxies and clusters, but radiation prevails on a larger scale.
Lagrange density for the whole universe is near zero with kinetic energy including radiation slightly larger than potential energy including gravity.
Energy in vacuum of this representation is large enough to satisfy Quantum Field Theory, but net curvature is small enough to satisfy General Relativity and the small observed Cosmological Constant. The need for dark energy disappears in agreement with this project.
It's a hard sell to the main stream of Physics, but deserving of the Nobel Prize if your group succeeds.
