I am looking to implement an EHR into a private practice, but would like to see evidence this is cost effective and that it will improve the administration of patient health records. It will reduce space from filing paper records, but will it be easy to implement and how do I get the staff to see this is a good idea?
EHR are notorious time sinks, and professional time is costly. Think of engaging medical scribes to take the load off professionals. This could improve acceptance and productivity.
