I think that the electronic collection of consumer data will allow multiple analyzes of consumer behavior, enabling campaigns, products and services targeted to each individual. The ethical dilemma of this involves the invasion of privacy and the use of data not always authorized by the consumer.
I think yes. It is a very brilliant and new research idea to study the relation between these two variables as "logically" they are closely related. I did a quick search on google on this topic but i didn't find a study that links them together, however there are many research papers discussed each variable independently.
