As a consequence of the climate change, many species are becoming threatened, but what about their endosymbionts? Some of them will have the ability shift into other hosts, at least those with a wider species range; but will specialists always lose the battle? What about the evolutive implications? What about possible shifts of specialist species towards generalists and vice-versa?
