There are many reasons that this happens. The learner might have a difficult chair or methodology. The time needed may not be allowable by the student. Money is a huge contributor because this level of degree is very expensive. Some students just feel that it is not worth it.
(1) Students cannot mastering in methodological or technical skills required to finish their thesis. Others simply need longer time to learn. This makes them bored and divert their attention.
