I'm seeking assistance in locating references that could elucidate the reasons behind varying fuelwood consumption rates for different tree species using the same stove and the same food. Specifically, I've observed that the stove requires more fuelwood when using Sesbania sesban compared to other species such as Eucalyptus spp., Markhamia lutea, Senna spectabilis, and Grevillea robusta. Although I understand that variables like the calorific value, wood density, moisture content, wood size, and fuelwood preparation methods play significant roles in determining the amount of wood needed for cooking, I have yet to find specific literature that discusses these aspects in relation to the mentioned species.
