could anyone please explain why the upper SE detector gives sometimes white image for CdSe/CdTe at some voltage (3-20 KV) and WD 11-13 mm ?

You might want to try "auto brightness/contrast" after the focusing process. It is just labeled as "ABC" in the software controlling Hitachi S-4800.
You might check the brightness and contrast settings with a fixed your voltage
