Why plateau in relaxation stress versus time for amorphous polymer

Dear All, we have performed relaxation tests under 3 point bending loading in amorphous polymer under elastic (visco elastic) deformation during 24h in saline solution at 37°C and some times we observe a plateau after the decrease of the stress , sometimes we have a constant decrease of the stress until 24h. What can be influence this test? Thank you
