Why Orion not included in the zodiac ?

There are twelve zodiac validated for us. Aquarius, Taurus, Scorpio, Pisces, etc. But why Orion not included as our Zodiac ?!

In the not cloudy night we often find and see even without any devices the component of Orion. Alnitak - Alnilam - Mintaka. They form a stright line with three dot.

Do you think that nowadays the "legal" zodiac still relevan for us ?

For example : Scorpio. Is it still do His duty well ?

Are there any chance for Orion to be one of the zodiac for us replace the not responsible one ?
