The regulatory institution European Food Science Authority (EFSA) publishes and maintains a list of organisms generally considered as safe for food production - The Qualified presumption of safety (QPS) list.

The species Lentilactobacillus parabuchneri (previously Lactobacillus parabuchneri) and Lentilactobacillus otakiensis (previously Lactobacillus otakiensis) are not on the list.

Is there a published rationale, why were they removed or never added ? Where ?
