Why is there no Thaumarchaeota phylum in the GTDB?

In the Genome Taxonomy Database (http://gtdb.ecogenomic.org/), the archaeal phylum Thaumarchaeota is not existent and its members are classified as phylum Crenarchaeota. Can somobody explain the reason? The publication (https://www.nature.com/articles/nbt.4229) only considers the bacterial dataset.
