If such is the case, then it is important to consider the effects of colonialism and sex as a social construct.
When you consider the power dynamic, then it is fair to conclde that men might feel entitled to sex and women. This could be rooted in the idea that women had been seen as property throughout history; hence, women might feel a pressured to comply with their demands.
Moreover, the media often portrays men as sexually aggressive and women as passive objects of desire. This can create unrealistic expectations for both genders and lead to feelings of inadequacy in women.
Societal gender inequalities have a significant impact on how the belief that men inherently desire sex more than women is imposed, subsequently leading to feelings of inadequacy among women. These gender inequalities stem from historical and cultural norms that have entrenched patriarchal systems, where men traditionally held dominant roles. Within this framework, male desires have been normalised and prioritised, while female desires have often been marginalized or dismissed. These disparities restrict women's sexual agency and reinforce societal pressures to conform to predefined gender roles. To address this issue logically and promote gender equality, it's essential to challenge and dismantle these deeply ingrained norms through comprehensive sex education, open dialogues about sexuality and consent, and addressing the structural inequalities that sustain these stereotypes. By doing so, we can logically work towards a society where individuals of all genders can freely express their desires without judgment or constraint, fostering a more equitable and inclusive environment.

The trouble is that no one is willing to comment on sexual issues in any forum I have ever tried including twitter & instagram (the only two social media networks that allows sexual vocabulary), mastodon, linkedin, facebook and here on a site that includes sexologists. Any so-called expert I have contacted has also refused to comment. Basically the only people who comment on sexual issues are paid to do so. This means that there is no adult discussion of sexuality anywhere. Your views on female sexuality are biased by the fact that you are male. Women do not want intercourse in the way that men do. The role of the reciever is very different to that of the penetrating male. Women want love, romance, affection and companionship. Pornography silences women because it infers that they are supposed to respond as men do. This is the ignorance that I am fighting. But men offer women substantial rewards for providing regular intercourse so women prefer to keep silent. But this silence is not evidence that they enjoy eroticism or sexual pleasure. Few women ever refer to sex unless they are making money out of men or boosting their own ego. There is a modern concept that for women to be valued they have to emulate men. We have gone backwards in our appreciation of women's emotional needs.
