I am simulating the sand-casting process of a grey cast iron on ANSYS workbench TRANSIENT THERMAL option but after filling all the necessary property, boundary condition and solution setup, the result in not correct. the result shows the temperature is constant in 1500 seconds? how can i model the simulation based on the attached material? If anyone is interested in this area I am waiting for a support. anybody can access the material I used as a reference isfile:///C:/Users/User/Downloads/Mech-HT_13.0_Appendix-A_Advanced.pdf

The simulation is to model casting of grey cast iron in silica sand mold. the geometry is 2d and set as axisymmetric behavior. Since the enthalpy data is not found in workbench material data so command is used for the grey cast-iron non-linear enthalpy data. the thermal conductivity of the grey cast iron is also tabular since in the study the grey cast iron assumed to be nonlinear and the sand is linear. the connection between the two geometries is not set. the mesh is done 1 mm element size for the cast part and 2 mm element size for mold part. the initial temperature for the cast and mold is 1400 oc and 20 oc respectively. the analysis setting i used is shown in the several screen shoots.
