There is much discussion on RG of collaboration mechanisms, utility of journals versus open publication on RG, and the role and validity of peer review. One may perhaps find a good number of other important discussions but what seems to be missing from the RG format is open research presentation in the form so commonly seen in graduate schools, seminar. How might RG increase its value to the research community, by supporting on-line analogs to seminars?
