It would be great if you can explain the reason for this property and its dependence on the acrylonitrile content. I believe as acrylonitrile content increases, oil resistance improves, but don't know the reason for this behavior.
The answer may be the fact that the nitrile group is relatively polar and, as such can be viewed as lipophobic, hindering solubilising interactions between the polymer chains and oil molecules.

Yes, lipophobic, though apparently my brain was set on "hydrophilic". Corrected it in the original answer.
It may also have to do with the Flory-Huggins interaction parameter
