I prepared solid polymer electrolyte using solution casting technique. After solvent drying, it is very difficult for me to peel off the solid electrolyte from the petri dish. I end up with small pieces of the electrolyte film whenever I try to peel it from the petri dish.

What is your casting solvent? Although we have a large number of solvents for membrane casting, you'd better try a solvent with less interaction with your polymer, so you can peel it off more easily.

Try using PVA, PEO, or PMMA solid electrolytes. They're previously used with good performance
