Currently writing a paper about Hegel with particular reference to his 'Phenomenology of Spirit'. Just wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction with this? Really appreciated.
Because immediate intuition is infallible -- at the price, however, of saying nothing (and thus justifying no argument).

This is a super-interesting topic (and Hegel is a super-difficult thinker), so good luck!
Not sure about Hegel, but generally speaking, intuitions are a bad guide to reality. You can see this by comparing out intuitive understanding of the world, you know, three dimensional objects moving through time and interacting only by direct contact, with the results of Quantum Mechanics and General Relativity.
Science and in some sense theoretical philosophy mediate reality by making concepts as explicit as possible, which often result in rather counter-intuitive ways of usage. While philosophers seem to have the tendency to claim that the way they use certain concepts reflects some sort pre-theoretical meaning (whether or not they are right is a difficult question), scientist develop concepts that (together with laws of nature) entail consequences that must correspond exactly to observation. For existentially quantified statements this entails truth.
Not that familiar with Hegel, but one could argue that all experience is mediated by concepts and therefore, that there is no immediate intuition which does not already appeal to concepts that make sense of what you perceived. hope this helps
As Levinas once said, "Being is isolation" (I am paraphrasing heavily). Immediate intuition is infallible but uncommunicable, even to oneself, because the very event of intuition is immediately superseded by another event; every instance of intuition is met with its disappearance straight after. Thus, trying to communicate to yourself after the event entails the disappearance of the event, thereby leaving you with another event, that of you trying to communicate some past event to yourself. All we are then left with are fleeting impressions that we try to make intelligible (i.e. communicable to others and ourselves) via conceptual mediation.
Some years back I have expressed my views which I submit herewith for your perusal .''Besides with the help of Yoga we can control our other physical structure of body but with our brain thru centre force of our forehead giving the inspiring grace in the form of intuition & with the regular practice of Yoga ,our eyes may help us to visualize the cosmic atmosphere.
