I used 3 RIPA lysates from murine cells - from a lymphoma cell line, primary naive B cells and primary stimulated B cells. I used anti-Lamin B1 antibody ab133741 at 1:5000 dilution. I see a clear bright band in the lymphoma cell line lysate, while both the primary cell lysates do not show any staining. The antibody seems to be working fine. Tubulin stains all three lysates as expected, though with a little less intensity of naive B cell lysate. I can't think of a possibility where Lamin B1 is not present in these cells. What could be the reason?
