Of course, electric field is a vector and gravity is a tensor. However, the gravity is vector of first rank tensor and hence, the relation may be possible under restricted condition.
`being from non physics background, More i try to get into more it confuses me. It brings me a lot more ambiguity than sense when i refer the treatment of gravity in all known theories. looking forward to your research!!
No reading no confusion and more reading more confusion. Why to read? All these are not the answer of all doubts and questions? Making possible from impossible is the key progress of Science.
It is about unification of forces. Now we have three (known) forces, i) Electromagnetism, ii) strong Nuclear and iii) Gravity. The description of EM and Strong nuclear is very different from Gravity. The EM has a potential description but known theory of gravity "General theory of Relativity" (GR) is space-time curvature theory. This is one of the major hindrances in unification of EM and GR. If we some day find an acceptable potential based theory of gravity than we will be able to relate these theories accordingly.
