I think you have to be more specific about what you are doing to "load" and "import" the data...

I have the data in a spreadsheet (.csv format). I loaded with the command read.csv and it loaded fine. It was showing in the global environment console. I checked it after loading, the columns and rows were intact, as in the spreadsheet. I have been using camtrapR package for analysing camera trap data. After a while, I wanted to check it again, it was not opening and I thought maybe something had gone wrong, so I reloaded it with the right click.

Now, with other sessions, other datasets are loading perfectly, but when I am trying to analyse data using camtrapR package, the problem still persists.

Hope I am specific this time. Please help.

You probably shouldn't need to use reload function at all. I've never noticed it was there, and have never had to use it. But I'm sure it's there for some reason....

Do you know if camtrapR is modifying the original data frame you are using? I would think that's pretty rare. But I would check the original data frame as I worked through and see at what point something bad happens to it. To do this, you can just click on the little blue and white arrow in the Global Environment, or use the str(Data) call in the Console, where Data is the name of your data frame. This is probably less prone to having weird things happen than opening up the data frame by clicking on it in the Global Environment.

Thank you, sir. I have checked, camtrapR is not modifying the original data frame. I will keep your suggestion in mind, will keep checking the data frame.

I am guessing the reloading problem could be because of the processing speed of my laptop. Sometimes, it reloads fine, other times, it creates a problem and I have to exit the whole session.
