Dear researchers,

While performing Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) in a supercapacitor with a two-electrode configuration (e.g., coin cell), why should the measurement be conducted at an OCV of 0 V*?

* Please consider the following:

  • 1 M H2SO4 electrolyte;
  • working voltage window between 0 V and 0.8 V;
  • NTP conditions.

All the best.
