It depends on your protocol. If your have perfected your protocol taking first or second instar mosquito larvae, it is fine. You can continue with that. However, as a convention efficacy of any larvicidal agent (chemical larvicie/biolarvicide) is assessed on 3/4 instar larvae. However, it is not necessary always
