Hi everyone!

I would like to ask for suggestion to improve the quality of my SEM image. I tried to analyze bacteria using Phenom SEM (a benchtop unit). For the sample preparation, I fixated the bacteria using 2% glutaraldehyde in 0.1 M potassium phosphate buffer pH 7.2, then washing using 1x PBS solution. Followed by dehydration through a graded ethanol series.

I've attached one of the SEM images I obtained. I would really appreciate any advice or tips to enhance the image quality, particularly regarding sample preparation or instrument settings.

Thank you in advance for your help!
